Dear Colleagues and Friends,
First of all, congratulations on the 15th Joint Meeting of Chinese-Japanese-Korean Ophthalmologists to be held in China in 2022. It is very unfortunate that this symposium will be also held online this year, following Korea in 2020 and Japan in 2021 due to the COVID-19. However, now that we are getting used to the symposium in an online format, it seems that many researchers are able to participate and share their experiences without physical limitations by making use of the advantages of online meetings.
However, it is very sorry that we do not have time for fellowship, which is one of the strengths of the Joint Meeting of Chinese-Japanese-Korean Ophthalmologists. We hope that the COVID-19 will end soon and we will all gather together to share opinions and spend time together.
I would like to express my gratitude to the Organizing Members who are preparing for the conference.
Stay Home and Enjoy Meeting!

President of the Korean Committee, Joint Meeting 2022
Dear Friends and Colleagues!
On behalf of the Korean Ophthalmological Society,
I’d like to congratulate the Chinese Ophthalmological Society (COS) for hosting
the upcoming 15th Joint Meeting of Chinese-Japanese-Korean
Ophthalmologists in conjunction with CCOS 2022.
Although the Joint Meeting of the three nations will
be held in virtual format due to COVID-19 pandemic, it is still exciting to
meet friends and colleagues, share medical expertise, and discuss common
academic interest on ophthalmology over the internet.
Through the past Joint Meetings, we have established
a strong platform to build friendship among the three nations as well as
provided opportunities for young ophthalmologists to meet international
colleagues.
I hope that the 15th Joint Meeting will
be another outstanding event to not only exchange the latest information and
knowledge on ophthalmology, but also share our vision together. I’d also like
to thank Professor Xinghuai Sun, the President of COS and Professor Wei He, the
Secretary General of the Joint Meeting for their great effort to organize and
prepare the Joint Meeting.
Next year, Korea will host the 16th Joint Meeting,
and we will endeavor to prepare the most memorable Joint Meeting of three
nations. I look forward to meeting you all in person in Seoul next year.
